With the exception of someone swiping the screen and pressing a play button, you really don’t see any other interaction between the user and the Surface. Contrast that with the iPad commercials.

Most of the video is focused on people actually interacting with and using the iPad. The ad for the Surface is more about having the tablet as an object. My guess would be that’s because the Surface interface is probably lacking the polish and simplicity of the iPad.
