To start it off, Aceyalone drops a new one. Crossing my fingers it’s more All Balls Don’t Bounce/Book of Human language than the sadly mediocre Lightning Strikes but regardless he’s still a top emcee. The individuals in Ugly Heroes (Apollo Brown, Verbal Kent, Red Pill) haven’t been in the game quite as long but they’ve all paid their dues, this should be a great straight up hip hop gem. And did you hear Tricky’s got a new one out? Yep, he does indeed. Also check out some chill instrumental electro-soul from detroit, blues-funk from africa, and some other audio weirdness including lo-fi surf punk from New Zealand via L.A. Cheers.

What people need to recognize is within the NFL, NBA, MBL, NCAA, Boy Scouts, your church, your community, your family and your planet is that, it’s not a case of “There are no gay people in (any of the previously mentioned)” it’s that they sadly they can’t be open about it because they have to deal with a bunch of assholes.
