R.I.P. Bobby “Blue” Bland

And so goes the passing of another blues legend, Bobby Bland passed away Sunday. Whether you think you know him or not you’ve most likely been exposed through his music through sampling. He never met the mass popularity of some other blues musicians but always met with critical acclaim. Who knows, maybe it’s better that way sometimes. In any case, farewell to the “lion of the blues.”
