Bad Ideas Made…Badder

What better day for bad ideas than Monday? I just received an email promo for a new product that’s about as revolutionary as cracked pepper A-1 steak sauce…Jagermeister Spice. Really. I just hope it mixes well with my cake vodka, oh wait, no that’d ruin the experience, they suggest it “demands a different method of consumption: either neat, or as a room temperature shot.” Maybe they’ll do a cross promotion with a ‘steak house’ that actually allows A-1 on the premises.

As far as I’m concerned the only thing Jager really has going for it is that it does actually have a pretty phenomenal logo.

Common Folk Heroes of the Week: U.S. Congress!

The almighty Congress. Do they do it for the common folk? No. Should we have ever really thought they did? No. But they win heroes of the week for reaffirming my belief in evil (not in a supernatural way, I don’t believe in religion beyond that, but in a very real way). Sometimes i grow soft and optimistic, I start to believe governing bodies really do have the people’s best interest in mind. Egad, I was starting to get such good vibes I almost decided to grow dreads! Thank you Congress for setting me straight again and bringing me back home to cynicism and defeatism.

Secretly, I think Rage Against The Machine is actually the illuminati and they craft and concoct these schemes to boost their sales. Daaaamn you, Zach de la Rocha.

Boehner Can Suck It

John Boehner can figuratively blow me. You and your party’s whining is disgusting there is not one goddamn element of the Affordable Care Act that anyone with heart would object. To support the most simpleminded and rabid of your supporters you decided to shutdown the US government putting about 800,000 government employees out of work, in addition to the countless government contractors who got a stop work order today. So take a minute to appreciate the fact that instead of being able to claim that you are the part of “Growth Opportunity Prosperity” realize that you have now become the party of “Gangrene Ossification Petulance.”
