Kool A.D. – Eroika has a lot of references, from Twin Peaks to YouTube, and I can’t tell if I want to party in that basement or not. Dig the screen-shirts. See also the track listing for his new album, out next week.

The Greatest MC You’ve Never Heard of: Kimani Rogers

Every so often there is a group that I listen to and I wonder why the whole world doesn’t know about them. One group that defines this to a T is Roosevelt Franklin, so I was very happy when Thos sent me the link to The Masterminds, another group of Kimani Rogers who recently put out a new album.

Roosevelt Franklin is one of those groups that if the person you are speaking to knows of them you can be pretty much assured that you can trust their taste in music.
