Song of the Week- Diverse “Escape Earth”

The man hasn’t put out a full album since 2003′s One A.M. and then comes and drops this and kills it. Where’s the new album?!?! “Escape Earth” is an ethereal jam and a super dope video to go with it.

Bones Brigade Documentary

I have no idea when this will be released to the public but be sure I’ll be there to check it out. The Bones Brigade is legendary and are the ones behind the seminal skate vid, The Search for Animal Chin. It’s the first video I remember with a narrative and Stacy Peralta continues to push the skate lifestyle forward.

Check for a Teaser from this year’s Sundance Film fest after the jump.

Not to Beat a Dead Horse But…It Was a Human Life

The lawyer for Trayvon Martin’s family did a pretty awesome job of flipping the script by saying that if the defense (Zimmerman) is going to use the Stand Your Ground law then Trayvon is the one that should have been justified, even if he threw the first punch.

“Crump said it was not clear that Martin threw the first punch but, argued that even if he did, Zimmerman’s actions launched the entire sequence of events. “Trayvon Martin had every right to stand his ground,” Crump said. ”
