Tuesday Forecast
I’ll say first off, I haven’t heard anything off of the YokoKimThurston project but I don’t know how you can’t be intrigued by an album of the Sonic Youth kids and Yoko Ono. Awesome? Horrible? Horribly awesome?
Also, I’m afraid to say the sequel of Food & Liquor is going to be a dicey bet. A pleasant surprise maybe? Let’s hope.
I’m feeling more confidence in hungry newcomer 7even Thirty. And Typical Cats from Chicago with their lyrical jazz crushing chunky hip hop beats, future forward old school. Bumpy Knuckles will also abuse you as badly audibly as he would in a dark alley if you did something wrong. Peeeeeeeace…

Wackness: Plus Size Model?
I can’t seem to escape it and I keep hearing praise over and over for Ralph Lauren (finally) hiring a plus size model. So I’m going to address it.
Really?
I put this in the “Oh I’m native cuz i’ve got 1/32 Cherokee in me” category. Curvy maybe, but applauding RL like he’s a champion of feminism and the female body image is (pun) stretching it. C’mon now. Stop it.
Writer Highlight- Peeta
3-D graffiti, you think Delta, Daim, Loomit, and…Peeta. Writing for almost 20 years, he’s broken out of Italy and spread his pigment worldwide, linking up with crews like FX and RWK (Robots Will Kill) while still holding down original crew EAD from Padova. When not vandalizing concrete and brick he’s hitting up canvas and making sculptures which all help to hone his craft. As he says, “Sculpting and painting, but also the photography are, in my opinion, disciplines who helps each other. Everytime i make a sculpture i receive a lot of knowledge about 3D space and shapes, that helps me to paint in a better way. And while i’m painting i develop new ideas for new sculptures. It’s a kind of circle.”
