Writer Highlight- Atak

Atak is an all around balanced writer. From walls to freights to rooftops to anything with a writable surface. He gets handy with the whole slue of weaponry; aerosol, markers, fire extinguishers . . . padlocks. Like I said he’s a writer’s writer. Carnage zine (by Sabeth718) just did their premier issue on him and his partner-in-crime Hert. But it sold out with a quickness.

Writer Highlight- Pref

Dear Mr. Peter Preffington, Doooooope. Sincerely, the World.

This man is a style king. The clean lines, color schemes, letter style. It’s all there. But then BOOM, the concept smacks you silly just long enough after you’ve been able to dribble out a “oh that looks cool.” Most writers have troubles with one word at a time, Pref attacks it exponentially. Simple/Complex. All flicks from his Flickr

Writer Highlight- Smash 137

Smash 137 is one of my favorite, prolific graf writers. His letter styles and color combos are so versatile and numerous yet he still completely hones his own style. Props to a true style master.
