“Only I Can Judge God”
One of the better tattoos i’ve seen in awhile. This is stolen from Vice who’s doing a series “Your Town is a Paradise” in which they’re encouraging peeps to send in debauchery in picture form to prove how gully and cool their city is. Bonus pic from the Bangkok submission-
The First Ever Saturday Morning Link Roundup
Some of you know me. Some of you don’t. That’s okay. DC Dan has asked me here to provide links that I find during my regular Internet prowls. A few sources will be obvious if you’re already hip to my patterns. If you recognize where I got every single one of these, we should probably have a chat. Here we go, deep breath… Pull!

Irina Werning- Back to the Future
Back to the Future isn’t by any means the first project to have someone recreate a photo of themselves from yesteryear as true to form as possible but Irina Werning’s execution here is brilliant. And somehow the merriment of the process is almost palpable.
There’s a lot that could be said about injecting the present into the past or how the more things change the more they stay the same but I’ll spare you and just let you enjoy the photos as they are and leave you to make up your own deep psycho-babble art philosophy.
Make sure to check out part 1 & part 2! She’s also going to be doing more in Tokyo, Korea, and Taiwan so if you live there and want to participate, hit her up.

Wrap You Up In The Shrink Wrap Of My Love
From the folks over at the Juxtapoz blog comes a little post about a project, “Flesh Love,” from Haruhiko Kawaguchi. Basically the photographer takes a couple objects of love, confines them in plastic wrap for no hope of escape, and then sucks all the air out, literally. That moment of time caught in a vacuum is captured and preserved with his camera, that brief moment when life is still. And then they’re cut free, free to breath back in the oxygen of life along with all its fluid, continuous monotony. But they’ll always have that moment. No matter what.
