Gonz Can Draw Better Than You

Mark Gonzales can draw better and more expressive than we can without even looking. And without a table. Check him out drawing to an audio clip about Willem De kooning. Then buy a bottle of Jack Daniels and do some drawing.

Song of the Week- Special Re-Do and Remix Edition

It’s hot. It’s the middle of the week. So we bring you temporary relief with Matt & Kim’s “Daylight.” It may ride that fine line of cute, cheesy, and poppy but damnit it makes us feel good. And in honor of that here’s a couple re-do’s and remixes.

New Japanther Video- Lil Taste!

Japanther are the homies. Matt and Ian are cultural populists that rip sh*t and do art and punk without borders or restrictions. They have the ‘I don’t give a f*ck’ attitude but it’s in the sense that regardless of whether or not you care, they’ll keep trailblazing and putting on amazing shows and creating community. Beets, Limes, and Rice is awesome. Got mine on transluscent orange vinyl!

Bones Brigade Documentary

I have no idea when this will be released to the public but be sure I’ll be there to check it out. The Bones Brigade is legendary and are the ones behind the seminal skate vid, The Search for Animal Chin. It’s the first video I remember with a narrative and Stacy Peralta continues to push the skate lifestyle forward.

Check for a Teaser from this year’s Sundance Film fest after the jump.
